Standard hop unit is fine, but fitting a Maple leaf rubber , I key and a Crazy jet barrel will improve perfomance and alow it to hop much heavier BBs

Thank you, where is best to get these parts, should I also stick with 50 degree for the rubber or something else?

Any idea what weight BBs it can lift standard and with these?

Depends where in the world you are based. I tend to use Milspec solutions for those parts.  My WE G18 is set for .30 bbs because that's what I use across all my GBBs. It will lift much heavier though if you wanted to. I seem to recal I tried it on .36's and it lifted those fine. And yes, I'd stick with a 50 degree rubber in the UK

As @Nick G has said, you can't go wrong with the bundles on MilSpec.

I used the ML hop unit and I-key in mine but I used a Flamingo 60 degree hop rubber rather than the included one. For ~£50 it's a good deal tbh. Always ran mine on .28s and it was perfect at my CQB site.

thanks for this. Does the 60 degree make much difference to fps as I’ve heard the harder the rubber tends to spike the fps but not sure how true this is. Otherwise I’ll stick with a 50. When I ran the gun no upgrades it shot 280fps on .25 on green gas in 11 degree temperature. Would definitely like it to be a bit closer to the joule limit
