Eyeba11 Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 Hi Guys Is a Lipo 7.4v 2600mAh C25 ok for a G&G M16 SRL ?
ButcherBill Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 The gun is powered by Electric, and features a V2 Rear Wired Gearbox, and is powered by 11.1v LiPo Batteries.
EDcase Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 (edited) Yes, the sales pages from various retailers suggest 11.1v is better for the G&G M16 SRL. Edited November 7, 2024 by EDcase
Colin Allen Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 The G&G ETU generally does not like 7.4v batteries.
neh0 Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 My G&G's prefer 9.6 NiMH or 11.1 LiPO rather than 7.4s. A friend uses a 7.4 in his and it works but doesn't seem as snappy

The G&G ETUs are designed to work with higher voltage batteries; the best thing to do is to swap the board for the Perun ETU++. Not only is it better quality and works with 7.4v batteries, but you also get adjustable precocking. Edited November 7, 2024 by Colin Allen neh0 1
Galvatron Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 I'll add my voice to the choir, from personal experience with the CM16 series with the ETU. 11.1v LiPo is definitely the best choice; 7.4v will work but you will notice the difference for the worse.
