ButcherBill Posted Thursday at 12:38 Share Posted Thursday at 12:38 The gun is powered by Electric, and features a V2 Rear Wired Gearbox, and is powered by 11.1v LiPo Batteries.
EDcase Posted Thursday at 12:55 Share Posted Thursday at 12:55 (edited) Yes, the sales pages from various retailers suggest 11.1v is better for the G&G M16 SRL. Edited Thursday at 12:55 by EDcase
Colin Allen Posted Thursday at 13:47 Share Posted Thursday at 13:47 The G&G ETU generally does not like 7.4v batteries.
neh0 Posted Thursday at 14:36 Share Posted Thursday at 14:36 My G&G's prefer 9.6 NiMH or 11.1 LiPO rather than 7.4s. A friend uses a 7.4 in his and it works but doesn't seem as snappy

The G&G ETUs are designed to work with higher voltage batteries; the best thing to do is to swap the board for the Perun ETU++. Not only is it better quality and works with 7.4v batteries, but you also get adjustable precocking. Galvatron Posted Thursday at 23:53 Share Posted Thursday at 23:53 I'll add my voice to the choir, from personal experience with the CM16 series with the ETU. 11.1v LiPo is definitely the best choice; 7.4v will work but you will notice the difference for the worse.
