Does anyone know why the slide on my VFC

Glock 45 is sticking after a few rounds? It happens with 2 different slides. Sometimes after 2 rounds. Sometimes after 7-8! 130 Nozzle spring 130 Recoil spring Steel hammer set F1 trigger Full mag Room temp Happened before the upgrades which were done to try to solve the issue. No obvious damage to the frame. Well lubricated

Totally baffled

Thanks everyone

are there any obvious contact points that might be blocking the slide?

does is happen when firing slower?

warm up the mag under your oxter and try again... does it still happen?

Maybe have a close look at the nozzle, check it for cracks.

Just to be clear, are one of the two slides the original one?

i.e the gun malfunctions while fully stock aswell?

The issue began with the MOS slide upgrade and stock internals. Had further upgrades but issue continued and then with the original slide also. I’m thinking the frame maybe the issue?

It almost looks as though the slides are not travelling flat. The MOS requires a bit of force to return to battery, the original just needs a tap 🤷🏻‍♂️

will probably order a new frame

Sometimes when switching slides problems occur. It could be tolerances, that the new slide is catching on somewhere or needs some braking in.

Also it could be that the mos slide is heavier, especially with a red dot mounted, than the original slide.

Then you migh need to find the correct recoil spring. Too weak and it won’t return to battery. But too strong will make it hard for the slide to lock back.

I think you have to experiment a bit.

I doubt a new frame will solve your problem.

edit: Is it a steel mos slide? That would explain a lot
