Which JB Weld.

The little brass tube embedded in the nylon frame for the screw that connects the hammer block of my Glock19 to the rear of my Guarder frame has broken off.

Would I best be advised to put it back and pack JB Weld around it, or just fill in the hole with JB Weld, and screw into when it has cured?

There are so many types of JB Weld  - quick weld, plastic weld, plastic bonder, original steel reinforced, steel stick etc - and I'm not sure which would be best. I'm thinking the quick setting metal reinforced original is probably the one to go for . Or should I try one of the alternatives like Araldite?

The only epoxy filler I have any experience of is Milliput, and I doubt that would be appropriate for the job.

pic please?

is it the plastic that has broken?

A 24hr cure jb weld or araldite will be the strongest, the 'plastic' ones may have better adhesion but its hard to know what you need without seeing the broken bit.
