Special Ops near Olney / Milton Keynes is a nice medium-sized woodland site that a few of us here go to

There's only one more game this year (2nd Dec), but the good news is that there will be a CQB site also opening in early February.  That will be near Cranfield / junction 14 of the M1

Highly recommend SkirmishCentral past Harold at MK43 7AE. Just had my first games there and they're all professional, well-organized, and extremely friendly. Had food on-site and all the staff were helpful throughout the day. It's a forest scene with a bunch of viable cover. Definitely give it a shot now that summer's on its way.
