I'm looking to swap the folding stock for a buffer tube/AR Stock set up 

 

Its been a fair while since I tech'd anything .... Can anyone confirm if this will fit the AKS74U?

That would fit - Although then what AR stock tube would fit?

Well, it would only fit if you had a TM based CYMA, so if you had a CM.045 you'd be out of luck. Even then you'd still need to attach the buffer tube somehow and that receiver is for full stocks.

 

Get a buffer tube adapter like has been posted above.

There are adapters that fit on full stock receivers ; I had one on an old AK74 I used to have.

 

I'm not a huge fan of the folding stock tubes; always seem to retain a wobble  .... however I shall look into the above.
