Hello All,

I bought a Krytac trident SPR cheap off the forums. When I got it it, it arrived fairly hot. So I paid the onsite tech at the local shop £20 for a quick spring change to bring it down.

However, since then it just sounds rather.... Twangy.

Thought it might be a good opportunity to learn some very basic tech work.

I presume the twang is coming from the spring / spring guide.

Do krytac trident series accept most upgrade/replacement parts?

I had a look at the disassembly of it online - doesn't look to complex.

My main goal would be to sort out the twang and reshim the gearbox, should it need it.

Sounds like he just cut down the existing spring as a short spring creates that twang.
