Hi GURUs of the Krytac.

I'm relatively new to to pew pew and have what i hope is not some silly question?

1. Could i simply add some  10p metal washer to the stock spring bolt that pushes the spring into place? This would surely increase spring tension and power?

2. Do SPR,CRB and PDW FPS differ due to barrell length if the same spring is used in all 3 rifles so if an asg m100) is used will they all fire at different FPS ?

3. Acetech lighterBT tracer unit has a built in Crono. WIll this device provide accurate reading when set to crono mode?

Any help from the experts and experienced airsofters would be extremely helpful

I have recently purchased a krtac SPR -PDW bundle (already have a CRB) and added some new bits (Promethous barrell for the SPR and PDW) which so far has not appeared to improve anything Especially with an ASG m105 spring. Infact the FPS appears less if truth be told.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers

Hello @Llamudos

1. cant comment on this as i have never attempted it but i can only imagine it adds more noise to your gearbox, ive always recommended getting a stronger spring and cut down if need be.

2. due to the barrel length the fps can vary due to the air in the cylinder and how far it has to push that bb out the end. longer barrel = more air required.

3. they are generally good products but in the case you are just testing for site chrono, most sites will still want to chrono your gun regardless of what you say.

I wouldn't recommend it. Clearly something's not right with the gearbox regarding airseal and you'll just shorten the life of the components putting such a heavy spring in. I'd open the gearbox instead and run as light of a spring as possible to get to 350 FPS. An M100 should be doing the job.
