Get out to plenty skirms and focus on improving your play, technique or tactics - that will result in much better performance in your game. Its all about the player, not the weapon.

 

agree and disagree  "if it's not broke don't fix it" springs to mind, but adapting something to suit your use/style is never a bad thing if well implemented

Physical adaptations to your play style, yes. Spunking money on chasing performance to the n^th degree, no.

 

Unless you just want to tinker and you enjoy that, in which case more power to you!

 

That said, if it's your only gun then do the basics and then get out and play more. Save up and buy a speedyboi SSG1 and THEN start tearing into the CM16 (assuming that by that point you still want to be doing the whole Dye mask, SpeedQB thing of course).
