fink1103
had an idea with the G4 masks pictured, has anyone tried reverse mounting the removable section of the mask to be behind the other layer so its closer to the eyes and easier to look down a magnified scope? I think it could also fill the small gap between the top of the helmet and mask and would obviously put the lens slightly closer to the eyes potentially making using a scope better but not sure if it would compromise safety. edit: I quickly tried and struggled to make it fit however with slight modifications or some well done bending of the metal it should. Or maybe if the side screws are done first main issue is the bottom of the removable section being slightly larger than the inside
Supporters Druid799 Posted April 29, 2021 Supporters Share Posted April 29, 2021 Don’t think it’s possible to do that it’s just way too bulky , only way your getting the visor any closer to your face is by either creating a whole new attachment system or ditching all the parts for that system and permanently attaching it to the helmet . fink1103
@Druid799 reakon your right it is still usable w a scope but could be better, you can actually remove just the face and wear goggles with it tbf this will allow better targeting probably only real issue is not having a full FOV down a magnified sight
