Gate Titan Questions for the Wizards

Hi all, I am hoping someone can help. 

 

I have a gate titan advanced installed on my mk18 and don't know much about the settings. 

 

I want pre-cocking (apparently) but surely that leaves the spring in a compressed state? or is there a clever way to release that pressure when I put it away for any extended periods of time?

yes, turn the precocking off and fire a couple of shots.
