Dnxj4mz Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Hello, I have just brought an ssg24 with a m140 spring installed. I used it at the weekend with 0.40g bbs but the hop unit was going from dropping on one click and flying up on the next click. Do you think that I need to get heavier bbs? As when it was chronoed it was shooting around 500fps. Will this make the hop up easier to manage? Also the bbs were flighing left and right, will this be due to the wind? Thanks.
Supporters Prisce Posted August 21, 2019 Supporters Posted August 21, 2019 I used .43g with mine, but it shot best with the .46g nov sent with it.
Dnxj4mz Posted August 21, 2019 Author Posted August 21, 2019 Thank you, What spring are you using? Also, does it have a period of breaking it in? Does the weight of the BBs affect the accuracy much?
Supporters Prisce Posted August 21, 2019 Supporters Posted August 21, 2019 M140 I used. It does have a break in period, same with all guns. Yes and no, heavier weights tend to be more accurate because weather and twigs don’t effect them as much. It’s not huge improvements though.
Dnxj4mz Posted August 21, 2019 Author Posted August 21, 2019 Cheers mate, Does/did your ssg shoot like a laser? Like all the videos? Thanks
Supporters Prisce Posted August 21, 2019 Supporters Posted August 21, 2019 No, it did not. Hence why I got rid of it. The gun is ok for something you don’t have to modify, but you can modify a gun to be a hell of a lot better.
Supporters Prisce Posted August 22, 2019 Supporters Posted August 22, 2019 SRS currently if i feel like sniping. I hate the ergonomics. But performance is second to none. If i get back into sniping I’ll buy an AA T10.
