VFC Avalon Upgrade Advice

Hi all,

 

Looking into upgrading my Avalon and have made a little shopping list but just wanting you guys' thoughts on it as this is my first time choosing parts as such so just wanted a once over to make sure they're compatible or if anyone's had bad experiences with the parts chosen etc.

I already have an m100 spring to put in too as it had been downgraded to an m90 from the retailer.

 

If it makes any difference to colour bucking or anything as such I'm using 0.28s now and plan to use 0.30s with this set up once I've used the last of these.

 

Also, I'm wanting to reduce the length of my aeg as I made the rookie error of thinking longer barrel was a sure way to guarantee more range, but it seems not so much in airsoft and a 14.5" hand guard is a bit much I've come to decide. So as above I'm thinking of going to a 250mm inner barrel so therefore I'd be wanting a 9" outer barrel, is that correct? And I'm thinking a basic style m4 piccatinny rail but I'm not sure if I want a suppressor that sits slightly in the hand guard so I haven't looked into that so much yet... Any recommendations on decent rails and/or suppressors/tracer units?

 

Is there anything I'm missing with the whole barrel reduction job?

 

Finally, I was planning on attempting this myself if it's not too challenging as you can't beat saving a few quid here and there! Is that realistic or is that asking for problems? I've probably given you all a good idea of how little of an idea I have about this stuff in the above so if that's anything to go off of...

 

I'm happy to sit through tutorials and such as I find the end result rewarding with stuff like this much like working on my car for example!

 

Sorry if this comes across as me asking to be spoon fed. I have done a fair bit of reading but don't fancy making a silly error with compatibility or something of the sort and you lot all seem so nice it'd be a shame to pass up the conversation opportunity!😉😂
