GazeTasty Posted May 20, 2018 Share Posted May 20, 2018 Hi I have been looking for some of this camo for a while now because I have been wanting to start a German loadout but the trouble is I am a big guy . I have been looking on eBay and other sites for it and they had my size which is 52 inch chest but they are sold out everywhere. The only thing I can find is the parkas but I'm not really a fan of them. So I was wounding if anyone knows if they is a airsoft company or something like that that makes them like they do with the MTP just for airsoft or if anyone knows where I can find a proper one that fits. cheers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sizes are done as the Germans do them, So everything is metric. The very largest stuff might just fit, There is a size guide on there somewhere but the sizes are set out like:Nr.20-1 185-190/120-130 185-190 (height) 120-130 (gut/chest) Nr.20-1 (standardised code for easy ordering). They have stock of new and Mil surplus. Smooth_Operator Posted May 25, 2018 Share Posted May 25, 2018 If you're looking for genuine Bundeswehr Tropentarn coloured webbing bits (made in Germany by Heim), then send me a PM. They are exactly the same as the Flecktarn standard issue bits, but in the Desert colour instead. Really hard to come by since the German Federal Government put a stop to conscription and selling off of surplus kit. I've got loads of bits spare after over-ordering when creating my Tropentarn loadout. Really need to get shot of some of it now as it's taking up too much space... 😂 Photo below shows some of it - padded shoulder straps, G3 magazine pouches (I've got some G36 ones too I think), Holster and also some canteen pouches too. On a more serious note, I found mine had a cylinder head and tappet plate defect. The cylinder head had no glue to hold on the rubber pad. I replaced the full head with a JG one I had kicking about, but you can just glue the pad back in. It's worth opening to check. And the tappet plate was warped. There have been a few cases of this on reddit swapping it out for a regular asg one solved any issues. Was shooting 305fps before the mods, and without doing anything else to the compression it came out at 355 afterwards. That still goes to this MGC P7.
