Kazuya991
I finally saved up enough to start a DMR build, looking to use the G&G Predator as the base as it's the best looking (imo). It's an AEG, so how does the conversion work? I know for GBB it gets its air from the green gas mags or a CO2 cart, so does the HPA completely get rid of the electric parts such as the motor, gearbox etc? I personally don't like the sound of an AEG, I want something that really pops when firing - I'm hoping to install one of those flash hiders that amplify sound
Root Admin proffrink Posted March 22, 2018 Root Admin Share Posted March 22, 2018 Drops into your gearbox and replaces almost everything bar the selector plate and trigger. Some systems have a custom gearbox shell (like the Fusion or Mancraft offerings) but many will just drop right in and then need connecting up to a very small battery and fire control unit. It's extremely easy, but YouTube is your friend here. The Mancraft PDiKs is the loudest I've heard so far but it's still quieter than most AEGs (look more into this one though as it's not really similar to anything else out there right now - it's fully mechanical and only fires in semi auto). Even an amplifier won't make a huge difference I'm afraid. Daytona Gun is another story, but they're very expensive and won't fit into a G&G Predator anyway. Also, moving this to the HPA section
