M4 Upgrades

I own a G&G Gr-16 and I am thinking of putting in a tightbore barrel and a new hop-up bucking. Is it easy enough to do this change on your own as I don't want to spend extra money on a tech to do something that i could do myself.

 

Any help is apreciated.

Im not sure if the Gr-16 hinges up like that I think the recievers have to slide apart.
