reece123 Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Hi, i'm currently having issues with firing my we m9, it will fire a random amount of shots and then it will fire one last bb without cocking the slide back for the next discharge, it will not then again fire until the slide is cocked manually, i has disassembled the gun and found no parts inparticular damaged or distorted. the magazines seem to be fine but was wondering what advice anyone can give me on this? Many thanks, Reece.
Supporters Shizbazki Posted July 9, 2017 Supporters Posted July 9, 2017 Here you go, a video about the issue i made a year or two ago:
reece123 Posted July 9, 2017 Author Posted July 9, 2017 many thanks for the feedback but unfortunately this is not the issue, my slide locks fine upon an empty magazine, but during firing a full magazine it will stop shooting altogether, there will still be bb's in the magazine but upon the last successful shot the slide will not have contracted to the rear. there is no action after this unless the slide is cocked again to continue the firing action. i highly appreciate the feedback though!
reece123 Posted July 12, 2017 Author Posted July 12, 2017 Would of been over the weekend I stripped the slide completely and regreased, and with trigger house I just regressed
alex90 Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 did u do the piston and nozzle because if they get dry the will cause friction and lock up and stick and does is sometimes vent gas when the slide sticks
reece123 Posted July 12, 2017 Author Posted July 12, 2017 Yeah thoroughly dried everything then reapplied, and yes when the slide sticks a bb will discharge out with what seems a small amount of gas and then there is no more action.
alex90 Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 yeah sounds like nozzle/piston to me how old is the gun and what grease did u put inside the nozzle ?
reece123 Posted July 12, 2017 Author Posted July 12, 2017 I just used gun grease I ordered from my local airsoft shop red in colour, would you recommend a replacement?
alex90 Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 any silicone based product will do just fine and did u take the nozzle out of the gun and get right inside it
reece123 Posted July 13, 2017 Author Posted July 13, 2017 I removed the nozzle but didn't lubricate it internally.
alex90 Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 yeah try putting lube on the inside use ur finger small amount and coat the inside
