NathyB
So I have two glock 18 mags one a 25rd and a 50rd I had the valves changed on them I think maybe both The 50rd holds gas but soon as I put it in the gun the gas releases I've noticed there's a C shaped ring missing from the back of the valve, where you can press to release the gas The 25 rd holds gas and when you put it in the gun it only shoots half the mag then runs out of gas even though I've filed the mag So my question is does the 50rd just need a "c" ring if so where can I get them ? And not sure about the 25rd mag any help is appreciated thanks in advance
Supporters Shizbazki Posted October 30, 2016 Supporters Share Posted October 30, 2016 Hi What brand GLOCK are we talking about? Silly question i know but do you fill the mags upside down? As in the mag facing down with the gas inlet valve facing up and put the Green Gas in upside down? Just gotta make sure as that's one reason why the 25rd mag runs out part of the way. Also how long do you keep the Green Gas can inserted for? For most mags you need to hold i there for about 5 to 10 secs. As for the 50rd mag it sounds like your missing the C-clamp as you mentioned, these can be found easily on ebay and so spare bought. Search for "E Retaining Rings" and find the relevant size you need, whatever you do do not search or Google for C Rings or you might have to do some explaining as to why you were searching for a ring that goes over a certain male appendage
