karl_liverpool
i currently have an src m4 ris. bought used for buttons. worked fine. second charge of battery and i got not kick up from gun. after stripping i found the neg lead had come out of the mini tamiya gunside. replaced the end with new connector. gun worked fine till battery died. charge again, and when connected to gun fired twice and smoke from the battery in crane stock. stripped and checked all wires for shorts no problems anywhere. would this be a failed battery or another fault eleswhere in the wiring system? aftershock
Sounds not mechanical although gearbox or motor could be under strain causing wires to overheat and kill the gun worst case scenario. But I'd check it on a 7.4 lipo and see what it's like just because your battery may not have enough juice
