Hi to all,

I have certainly bought a second hand Well MB01 L96 don't really like or do the sniper thing just bought it for the odd game here and there. Upon getting it out setting it up etc all seemed to be ok.....

First chrono was low so messed a little with the hop and it came up nicely so the Fps was ok so moved onto range of it and WOW poor wasn't the word, it fires out in what can be described as a 10Ft flop like if you spat your chewing gum out a little range followed by the huge drop.......... FAIL.

So my question and help is. Has anyone experienced this before and what was the problem. I am thinking the cylinder head as the BB when loaded rolls out if it tilts slightly !!!! anything electric I'm ok but this is well there's not many things to look at it's more of the case of which to replace.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If the BB just rolls out of the gun then it's very likely the hop rubber is either worn out or even missing, as the bump in the hop rubber should be enough to stop the BB moving down the barrel until the air is shot against it, even with the hop fully off. To check the cylinder compression, make sure the gun is unloaded but with an empty mag fitted. Then cock the gun, put a hand over the end of the barrel and feel the air released as you pull the trigger. A sound cylinder seal should mean you feel quite a strong rush of air at the muzzle. If that is OK then the hop rubber is probably at fault. If not, then the cylinder will need taking apart and checking for sound piston O ring and cylinder head seal. Not that difficult if you have the right tools.
