Hi all

I picked up my ICS m16 in 2006 and from the box it fired around 290 fps No idea what spring it has?.

Long story short I used it for a couple of weeks when i got it and used around 2000 rounds plus and since then it has been doing nothing for 6 years so i had it serviced and greased etc prior to a skirmish on sunday.

I have just installed a madbull 6.03 509 barrel and I want to get it firing around 335 340 to allow for chrono tollerances (my sites absolute upper is 350)

Will an m100 spring be of any use?

Cheers
Boof

EDIT: Also ive lost the brass ring that slips over the barrel and keeps things in place on the hop. I was hoping the madbull came with one but didnt so ive used a little rubber washer. Does anyone know where i can find a replacement. Ive tried googling but im not 100% sure what its called.

springs will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, i used this when selecting a spring for my project MP5. however i have no data on what gun/ammo was used etc so these are only ball park figures and should not be taken as 100% for every gun etc.

as for your lost bit, have you tried giving a ICS dealer a call? i think land warrior are a dealer again.

Thanks for the guide mate!, I think I will go with guarder sp90.

As for the lost bit, on closer inspection of the manual it looks like it never actually had one but instead had a rubber washer that fit a grove in the barrel. I just need a generic barrel spacer i believe but cant find one anywhere in the UK. I have found a set on ehobby asia and may have to get those.

I have the sp100 in my project and it chrono'd at 300fps but I did have the cylinder the wrong way round no idea what it is now though.
