I have a few questions Are there any groups/teams I can join in Kent? What site are there in Kent? Can you just turn up on your own on your first skirmish? Also I'm looking to get a m4 what would you recommend? And what should I go for gas or eletric? Thanks for your time an looking forward for your replys! Pointman PUG
Hey Sam how ya doing buddy?? :-D I dont know whats available in Kent sorry mate...but im sure other people will soon let you know! yes,its fine to rock up all billy no mates....trust me...you'll make them quick if your a genuine and social sort of chap! best m4...lots of contenders for that title, but I use an electric G and G gr15 with blowback(blowback cycles the ejection port cover back and forth...looks real, and very cool!) you can pick one up new from about £150 to£180...but dont forget to factor in a charger and some batteries. as for gas or electric...well thats a personal decision...I find electric easy-to-use because you just charge the battery and away you go....gas has its own issues such as how the weather affect performance and consistency and the fact that most gas mags are lo capacity(30 or so bb's then you have to change mags or re gas your mag and refill...lots of mags needed...lots of cash!!!),where as electric guns can have 120,200,450 or even 2000 rounds in the mag....so it depends what type of fire rate you want to lay down!!!....although gas does look and sound waaaaaay cooler!!! hope this helps buddy...happy shopping ;-)
CES_williamson
okay well welcome to the forums i dont live in kent but i can help with the other stuff yes you can the site will put you in teams for your starter gun i would recomend a G&G combat machine they are good guns- good range and they are reliable and quite cheep link: http://www.proairsoftsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/CM16--starter-pack--CARBINE-TRANSPARENT-cm16transspack.html so i would go for electric for now because gas takes a lot of maintenance and as you are new to airsofting you will want something quite low maintenance to start off with any more questions you want to ask just reply EDIT: i see pointman has said most the stuff i have but in more depth but i do recommend checking out that link! AF-UK Founding Member Deva Posted April 15, 2013 AF-UK Founding Member Share Posted April 15, 2013 Welcome to the forums There is no fee to the UKARA process, you need to play 3 games in no less than 2 months and be over 18. Speak to the site about it when you go.
