Standard Lists of Parts for an AEG?

Hi everyone,

I'm researching the costs (just out of interest) for a custom built M4/HK416 variant. What are the standard parts for a AEG, both internally and externally? Basically I'm asking what would I need to build my own gun.

You're far better off buying a base gun that gives you as much of your finished project as possible, trust me, I've been there wasn't healthy on my bank balance and it never bloody worked.
