Henry Wisdom
Ok, so I tried filming in 720p with an increased frame rate per second for the first time,(I think it was 60.. I'm not sure how all this technical stuff works to be honest lol). Anyway, I heard that when publishing you should try keep the settings as close to what you filmed the video in as possible? So I have the option to publish in 1080p if I want to. But I've heard that this will take some of the quality away when I upload onto YouTube, so should I publish in 720p? Thanks. AF-UK Founding Member Deva Posted August 14, 2012 AF-UK Founding Member Share Posted August 14, 2012 Publish in the same format. If you render in 1080p it won't really be 1080p as the video will have just been stretched to that size. Hope this helps.
SheriffHD
Yeah if it is just for yotube, then you want to render at 720 @ 30 Frames a second, youtube doesnt play any higher than 30 so rendering at 60 is just a waste of time and computer memory. but dont let that confuse you,s till record at 60 fps as it keeps the video nice and smooth and allows for better editing should you wish to slow moments down.
