Hi, for your first gun i would reccomend looking at the G&G Combat Machine Range. They have very good internals but the body is made of a lightweight but durable material which cuts the cost down ALOT. Another great Starter gun is the SRC G36c.

For gear I feel the first things you should get are Safety Mask/ Glasses, a good pair of boots and some gloves.

Make sure you don't get a sniper rifle, I have one and I'm a year into airsoft and i dont like it and i've only been using my sniper rifle in the garden!

Combat machines are great i have one but dont use it, its two tone but is missing some parts, if i can get those parts and fit them into the gun i can sell it to you for about £100 with a magazine.

For batteries and chargers go to http://www.component-shop.co.uk/ its the one that everyone says is good, I had never used it before but good reviews and prices make it sounds great :)

i suggest getting something in the area of the g&g combat machine such as a g&g cm16 raider cqb or long. it is a great starter gun as i dont recommend getting a blowback as a first gun. it is very durable and quite easy to maintain so it should last you some time. it is fairly light and comfortable plus it is great to customise due to the ris rails on all sides at the front of the gun. there is a rail on the right, left, bottom and a rail going all the way along the top of the gun. it fires around 330-340 fps out of the box unless you install a m120 spring in which case you can fire 370/380-420 fps but i dont advise installing an m120 spring as it will break the rules of the fps limits at most airsoft sites. this gun is very good and the quality is great for a gun with quite a low price for a (good quality) aeg, however this gun does somewhat lack accuracy which is not major but you might want to consider investing in a 6.03mm 363mm version 2 tightbore barrel (i think that is the measurement) which is not too hard to install as long as you know what you are doing. also if you get the cqb version you may have to put a mock suppressor over it to hide it. this gun is around £180 including battery and charger (not including p&p. p&p may vary between postage companies and websites) it is a great gun and i highly recommend getting it especially as a starter gun. hope this helped :)
