leothelion
Ive got a swiss arms torch with a pressure switch. Its nice and bright, sturdy and has multi-functions (such as bright, medium and strobe). The only problem is that i seem to have to cycle through althese functions all the time. I cant just have it on bright -- the next time i push the button itll be medium and after that im giving someone an epileptic fit on strobe.. Its annoying - has anyone else had to deal with this sorta thing?
Tariq
My Olight does that, not really a problem though as it remembers the last setting. If i want low i have to go through Low-Medium-Bright as f*ck-Strobe. Doesnt take long though, and since when do you have to change brightness while pointing it at someone ??? Mine has to seperate buttons though. On-Off and the change mode button. Is yours just only the one button???
leothelion
mine has a button on the torch itself which you would push to cycle through the funcions that you want - and then i plug a pressure switch in which becomes the main button leaving the button on the torch pretty usless (just on/off). I guess ill just have to give my position away by looking like a mobile disco as i select the correct brightness..
MZKaleem
Just put your hand in front of the torch when changing so you aren't as obvious, it isn't the easiest strategy but I cant think of anything else.
