psion Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 OK, here is the situation, i few months ago i happened across the MadBull Ace SOCOM stock on a webpage and i was instantly BESOTTED! i have to have one! now these things are designed to take LiPo's but i am currently running an 8.4v 1600Mah NiMH mini in the fore-grip, however i was considering getting i new fore-grip too! either a full metal RIS or a Magpul jobby or something, right then, so my question is, should i ... A.) Change the stock and the fore-grip, rewire to the rear and switch to LiPo's in the stock, and if so what should i be running? B.) Change the stock but leave the fore-grip alone and stick with my NiMH? C.) Change the stock and the fore-grip and purchase a PEQ battery box (and which batteries should i put in it NiMH or LiPo)? hope some useful soul will help me out. A
Supporters Rock-climby-Dave Posted May 7, 2012 Supporters Posted May 7, 2012 Magpul foregrips are REALLY spacious for batteries, go to a 9.6V nunchuck in the front and change to the magpul MOE style front end.
