Hey guys looking for a secondary to my Ngrs. I’m undecided between a m&p9L or 4.3 hi capa. I know both are great but, I am my main concern is reliability and just keeping them alive. Thanks.

Honestly, just go with whichever you prefer the look of. TM pistols (assuming you're talking about the TM ones) are all really reliable and you don't need to do anything to them for them to shoot pretty damn well. Just leave it stock and it will last you seemingly forever.

In my opinion, the M&P9L and hicapa 4.3 are vastly different pistols. The 9L is a “long barrel” pistol. Similar in length to the hicapa 5.1.

Personally I’d recommend the Hicapa as they have a more abundant spare parts and upgrades.

the M&Ps used to have loads of upgrades and spare parts but most of that has dried up as popularity dropped off.

The only thing I will say is the 4.3 will have slightly less power compared to a standard length pistol.

as someone else stated above, all tm pistols are reliable. Both of the pistols mentioned in the real world would be double stacked magazines - makes no difference in Airsoft but means you have a larger gas reservoir than say a traditional 1911.

Both have pros and cons in my opinion.

m&p

pros - highly ergonomic and really comfy in the hand and looks a lot nicer ( only my opinion)

cons - not as many after market parts as hi-Capa.

hi Capa

Pros - lots of upgraded parts easily available

cons - not as aesthetically pleasing as the M&P.  I have a 5.1 and it took a Kimber style externals to stop it looking so square.

I’ve owned most types of pistol over the years; I’ve found the ergonomics of the M&P to be the best in my hand.

alternatively if you’re willing to venture away from the options you listed; the HK.45 is really good - once again a highly ergonomic pistol.

Or the FNX.45 is also an excellent choice but lacks upgrade parts.

If the parts market is dried up. That’s not good haha.
how about the HK45? I was eyeing that as well. Is there a lot of parts ? If not, will go capa.

What parts are you thinking of? Mine has a Maple Leaf barrel and hop rubber and a Laylax outer barrel. It only needed the outer barrel because I dropped it on the muzzle and damaged the original one.

If you're looking for a pistol to smother in loads of pointless anodised tat then yes, Hi-Capa or AAP-01 are probably your best bet. If you want a decent pistol that is reliable and shoots well then yes, the HK45 is good (as is pretty much any TM pistol) as long as the ergonomics work for you.

More so slides, nozzles etc. anything that might break. I don’t need 1000000 different slides grips etc. just enough to keep it up and running :)  . I would wait for the glock 17.5 but. As I said the ergo is all messed up. I am also a sinner (lefty haha)

HK45 then. Glocks are wank.

Controls on the HK45 are ambidextrous too so double win. Apart from the safety of course, but who ever actually uses THAT?

The tactical is fully ambidextrous. One of the reasons I have HK45 (previously a capa man) is I had various friends running it from the release of the standard version and never had to replace any of it. I got the tactical not long after the release and much the same. That's running it as a primary too not just a holster filler like most. Although I have changed it a little. With a little inner barrel modification you can fit any TM cut gbb inner barrel so you are not limited to the lalax. And don't change to any of their springs they're rubbish and impede performance, many people I know and in discussions have found this.

WE CT25 ??
Terrible gun but I do love mine.

There are replacement slides, nozzles bbu etc if need be correct ? Worst case. Just always prepare for the worst haha. I also plan on using predator ultra gas as well.

Never had to look. I'd just buy another if I couldnt find one. By the time this dies TM will have probably come out with something better to turn my head?. I use the old gunfire green most of the year round. In extreme cold it slows the cycle a little then I use black gas and it goes like it's a normal day.

I will look into it for sure. Thanks! You hk looks great! Love the paint job.

Another vote for the HK45 Tactical. Though i also really like the TM PX4.

Oh and if you aren't bothered about realism and more performance the hadron tdc barrel is meant to be amazing.
