VMP 2 C bolt scraping

Hello,

I have just picked up a pre owned VMP2C.

It worked good for a few shots but since has been very problematic.

The gun works but it dosent lock back after the last shot but what concerns me the most is it is screeching. It's almost like the bolt catch is protruding into the bolt whilst it is cycling scraping metal off as it fires.

The bolt catch is flopping all over the place but its hard to say what the problem is.

Has anyone got any advice or had this problem?

Open it up and look for any signs of wear. If something is dragging along another part then there should be signs of it

It's definitely worth opening up. The Vorsk VMP2 series doesn't come pre-lubed on the moving surfaces. It's possible that the seller was innocently unaware and didn't do this themselves.

I took mine apart to lube but it did seem pretty well lubed after inspection.
Try using their v12 gas to see if that helps with the fire lock back

As suggested, open it up and check for lube and signs of wear. Mine was making a screeching noise, but was under warranty so it's gone back.
