Evening all , anyone with experience of the VMP2 ? a friend has asked me to look over his and sort a couple of issues . I've fitted the Sabre reset arm which has dealt with an occasional venting issue . But It doesn't lock back on empty and I cant see any good reason why not .Except that with the upper fitted the bolt release 'wings' dont move fully out when an empty mag is inserted . I can't see anything obviously binding and the mag catch levers etc got a good lubing when the trigger pack was out for the reset lever.

Has anyone had experience with the same issue , and if so how did you fix it ?

My money would be on the gas pressure being too low (given the current bloody freezing temps!) have you tried warming the mags and/or using a winter gas

Assuming you have, mine struggled to lock back when the charging handle was loose, it turns out the very end of the charging handle catches a lip on the nozzle to pull it out of the hop chamber as part of the cycle, it could be something similar?

Not sure about the vmp2 but neither my WE SIG 226 or mates VFC Glock cycled properly last weekend, temp was3-6 deg C and they worked fine to start with but after a couple of hours they went bang but the slide didn’t travel enough to pick up the next BB. Going to try red gas to see if it fixes 2 GBB pistols that have worked perfectly this year.

Definitly not temperature related , it's been doing it all year aparantly . The charging handle / nozzle thing is interesting though , I'll look into that thanks.
