Now you have an excuse to buy an SVDJust got me a used PSO1 repro which turned out to be stupid.
Nothing wrong with the sight in itself. Just don’t work well with an AK74S. Too big and can’t use the folding stock.
Looks cool though…
Lesson learnt.

It's odd it has an ak style lug instead of the typical SVD recoil lug. What brand is it?Just got me a used PSO1 repro which turned out to be stupid.

Hi mate.
Thanks for the reply Rick.Hi mate.
The Thompson is a snow wolf M1A1. Real wood stock, and all metal.
I also own a cyma Thompson 1918. The gangster looking one on the left in this picture.
The pistol is the army armament R31. It's all metal, and feels sold and realistic. Mine has the green gas magazine, but co2 are available. Reports are that they more prone to leak though. Pheas did a good review on it.
I also own another 1911, the cyma AEP. It's an ugly mother, but great fun to shoot as it's full auto. I gave it a bit of a paint job to try to hide some of it's ugliness. Not authentic in any way admittedly.

How do you find the two Thompsons, how do they compare to each other in terms of internals and externals? I've been tempted by the Cyma for a while, but to add a wood kit to it pushes the cost up a fair bit....Hi mate.

I definitely prefer the snow wolf because of the wood and the military style, but there's not much between them otherwise. Jury is still out, as Ive only gamed each one once so far. The plastic stock does feel cheap, but it's lighter. How do you find the two Thompsons, how do they compare to each other in terms of internals and externals? This is a real wood furniture set for the cyma, needed a little fettling but not too much.I definitely prefer the snow wolf because of the wood and the military style, but there's not much between them otherwise. The M1A1 has 2 sling attachment points which is a bonus for sure.
That's nice - is that the Battleaxe set? This is a real wood furniture set for the cyma, needed a little fettling but not too much.
