Got 3 stick mid caps for my 1918 Thompson. The drum mags I bought with it are not very practical due to weight and of course the noise. One had an annoying rattle when it arrived so I rang patrol base who immediately offered to send me a replacement. The guy told me to keep the broken one and told me to have a tinker which I did, I removed a small piece of plastic that was floating inside. Little tricky getting it back together as I've never stripped a mag before but the magazine now work's perfectly. Bargain.
I've partially loaded them in stages and will work up to full capacity as per advice from TaiwanGun and on here.
Another happy purchase from PatrolBase.

No pics, but as I've managed to get the Star l85 back to life, I've gone all nostalgic and ordered an arktis windproof smock and their limited edition chestrig to replace my original that I foolishly let go. I'm currently fighting the urge to go full nuts and rebuild my TA kit including the god awful helmet XD

Saw one of these at a ridiculously low price, not even my size but had to buy it for the pure nostalgia alone, back in the day one of these, lightweights & a pair of NI boots was the go to kit, loved mine.
Now just gotta hope the guys got the sizes completely wrong & it fits me, otherwise ill have to give it to my lad

Yep, I had one! So much better than the thick pvc dpm offerings available at a similar time. I lent mine to a friend of my wife for use at a festival and never saw it again....

Being a portly chap I find it impossible fitting into even the largest modern plate carrier, partially due to the impossible to adjust shoulder straps of some (Virtus, I'm looking at you), but mainly due to the girth of my hibernation suit so...
I fancied a jazzy laser cut carrier but nah, I'm too tight fisted for that and I spotted this Viper carrier in the classifieds and made a cheeky offer to DanRunham (which was rightly refused), increased my offer and here it is...
Came with pouches & backpack/panel as seen in the first pics, I'll swop out pouches to suit my needs/wants but won't change much more than the front panel until a bigger/longer pair of cumberbunds arrive from China.

The first accessories for my Sicario build arrived too, a Gemtec suppressor from Hatchet and an aimpoint clone from Patrol base, can't fit them fully as I'm still waiting on the ras guard & mount so more pics to follow...

Well DPD has delivered the Ras rails for my MP5 Sicario project, I'll replace the pew with a VFC MP5 at some point so It'll be an A3 with SEF markings but for now this TM will do nicely.
