Got a bunch of stuff from Invader Gear on the way: a Reaper QRB plate carrier, cargo pack, 3 single 5.56mm mag pouches, and an admin pouch, all in Ranger Green.

Also ordered a 2L Hydrapak Force bladder - the weather's in the high 20s/low 30s now and the 700ml water bottle I'd been carrying wasn't going to be enough.

Just recently, a TM HK45 Tactical, Esstac double mag pouches, TM pistol speedloader (boy, is the difference noticeable to cheap Lonex ones), WAS universal holster. I got a crazy jet barrel and two hop rubbers to see if there is a significant difference from the already excellent TM setup. 
 

Also, a small pile of bits from Tacticaltrim.de to see about making some elastic mag pouches - shit brown bank robber rig, anyone?

Looking through the site, it’s apparent that TMC also use gen Austrialpin buckles with prices to match so I really would appreciate your thoughts when it arrives (I’ve put myself down for a restock notification too). 
 

As you say, you aren’t going to be parachuting off it or leaning out a chopper door and I’m willing to bet it’s at least as strong as a Webtex side release buckle as seen on a million 90s PLCE belt kits. 

Arrived today! Very impressive, 5 days from Spain!

For a €20 belt I'm thoroughly impressed. Made very well, and will more than stand up to the rigours of Airsofting (not that I move with much pace anyway! ?)

I've got a game tomorrow, so we'll see how it gets on. Got an evening of molle threading ahead of me now!

Didn't initially want goggles but for free (bought him a kebab) I can't grumble. He reckons he might have some glasses knocking about as well that I can have. The joys of working with an ex infantryman!!

Quite a few bits of new kit....

First off is a british army helmet complete with ballistic visor and lower face shield...  all found on ebay

(No pics of my own helmet yet as helmet will be delivered tomorrow...  but here is stock pic of what it will look like)

Also ordered 2 cheap red dot sights on fleabay... nothing special, just something to give me a better sight picture when wearing my new helmet or the gasmasks i normally wear at games 

Recently changed BBs, now running Valkyrie .25s, and comparing them on game day to my previous ASG .25s, they are much better quality and consistency...  well worth giving them a try  (no im not sponsored by them, or affiliated with them in any way...   just trying to spread the word about a good product)

And finally a G&G SMC9 and 3 spare mags...  awesome little gun, definately my new favourite (ran it for the first time at RIFT comms site 3 last saturday)

Oh, and also an update on the ammo boxes i mentioned the other week....  ordering some foam liners for the big case so i can turn it into my armoury case....   and finished making the trays to sit inside the other case, to hold all my mags, bbs etc (with some assistance from my father who is better at DIY than i am...  lol)

Please don't buy stuff off ebay like this - AFAIK Mk7 helmets haven't been released for public sale yet and even if they have certainly shouldn't be on eBay.  They remain the property of the MOD and shouldn't be sold by private individuals - its theft.  If you need to buy ex-military gear please go via a shop that will have got it via the correct disposal methods.

What's worse is it isn't a Mk7, it's a Virtus helmet and absolutely definitely shouldn't have been getting flogged on eBay. Even worse for buying it frankly...

Specna Arms SA-G11 G36 KeyMod EBB Carbine
bought off another forum member, replacing the Tamiya connection to a new one tomorrow and fitting a red dot sight to the top and a torch to the bottom front to make it look even better! Can’t wait to test it GSG9 style on the 2nd! ?
