what is the purge issue, could u elaborate more on it? 
 

its not an issue. Basically if a mag is run dry and has air in it, you hold the valve open for a second while filling to purge the air out and leave liquid gas in. his mags were full of air and I proved it after his game.  plastic nozzle gas bottles don't really let the air out when filling.

To everything else - seems u were not ready to play with gbbr's, i can get behind "mags are too delicate" issue but everything else is what GBBR's are, they are all like that, even the mag issue - u cant throw their mags around or on the ground, they are all heavy if they are used on rifle type of gun, and no wonder gas guns are temperature affected. 
If this is your main problem i would say go with GBLS DAS GDR15 , it will have all you want.

aaah this one, yeah, i noticed that plastic nozzle gas bottles doenst even work without a silent fill oring, i ordered a metal nozzle extension which was very long (sth like Ultra air gas bottle) and it works perfectly now on my mags without silent fill o-rings! i think it vents air out pretty good as well so i guess i will not have this issue, thanks!

u kinda make it sound worse than it is, its as literal as just press on the exhaust valve and load some gas in it, then proceed filling as usual, and usually this is only with silentfill orings isnt it?

It’s only airsoft, that’s all that matters 

My mws is nearly how I want it to look/feel.

I keep feeling an itch for a G&P dbal but as I have no desire to ever spunk multiple £k on nods it’s an aesthetic itch to scratch.

currently have a nuprol  battery box as a visual “tester”

I have a PEQ with a green lazer on the front that I cannot use in anger, as it will burn someones eye out.

It’s just a sales pitch, even m4/m16 rifles I shot many years ago in the states didn’t fill me with the “Jesus that’s a heavy trigger” feeling that the das has

That trigger and the price influenced my decision to buy the mws

Just loving the standard worthless fanboying of something you have zero first hand knowledge of, based on a review you saw.

Not sure I say it quite ranks as fanboying (though I am genuinely surprised by the lack of fanboying to convince you that the MWS is fine, and that it is you that is the problem). Just think the opening gambit on the GBLS was poorly worded 'have you taken a look at, it might be your cup of tea' would have likely come across better give the experience/lack thereof.

But I must say the entire exchange has been thoroughly entertaining and I hope it continues.

And basing your knowledge of one experience with GBLS DAS is enough?  Seems too extensive to me, but hey I can see what I am dealing with here, so whatever have it your way, thats not why I came here.

For sure, if you like throwing mags around and not being able to do that is a deal breaker then that alone is enough for it to not be a good fit for you. I'm honestly not sure that's something different mags would change, they're heavy twats whatever the weather so once you're introducing gravity to that weight chances are something is breaking. I'm sure you're smart enough to know what could prevent that issue specifically, but it seems like frisbee'ing mags around ranks higher in your personal priority of things you want than the things the MWS does offer that your other platforms don't.

I'm not convinced you're likely to find a GBBR/GBBSMG (is that abbreviation a thing?) that'll be able to shift that list of priorities, at least not as a 'primary squeeze' but I hope you get some degree of joy from dabbling ?‍.
