On the real steel it is necessary to dry fire the Glock before slide removal. The trigger is fully back as the two tabs are pulled down.
However on video I have seen users of the WE version do this with the gun cocked - trigger all the way out.
Which is preferable with airsoft Glocks?
Or does it not really matter? Perhaps the instructions for the real firearm are to do with safety considerations rather than any mechanical issue.
