Raven 1911 Meu

Hi today I had a raven 1911 come, I had taken off the slide and now am unable to get it back together, the notch’s are not lining up to be able to put the pin back in. Any suggestions?

1) why did you take it apart in the first place without knowing how to assemble it back?

2) place the slide on the frame, pull it back until the holes are aligned, insert pin.

I know how to assemble and disassemble, but for some reason the notch’s aren’t lining up, this is the first time this has happened and none of my friends who play airsoft has come across this before.

Are you meaning the hole in the hop unit isnt aligning with the hole in the frame?

Or that you can't get the slide far enough back to put the slide catch back in?

As you can see the slide isn’t going far back enough so the notch’s aren’t meeting.

is the barrel  seated and does it have a guide rod? possibly try it with out the recoil spring

why is the hop/barrel pin in place? 
 

Im by no means a hi-capa/1911 expert, but I do know you need to position the slide and hop/barrel before you insert the pin

Yes it has a guide rod and goes on fine there, without the spring and pin the spring goes onto it meets, but with them there it doesn’t. Which obviously they are needed.

i put the pin in afterwards, without the pin it doesn’t go back.

Only wanted to take it apart to convert to Co2 now it’s crap ?

Yeah ? well didn’t end up changing the part as I wanted to make sure it went back together and didn’t

I bought the 1911 and I pushed the spring thing at the barrel and I can’t pull the slide Back or get the spring to come forward

You'll need to move the black bit under the barrel around until it pops back up
