Don't know what gas you've been using in them, the bb's certainly don't 'dribble' out, have had one land in my lap. I wasn't walking much for 15 minutes afterwards.

I've seen them used twice, and the first time I had to tell people they were out that were around me because they didn't hear, nor feel it go off.
The second time was more recently when someone threw it against a wall because they thought there was a window there and it went off in his hand and he didn't even flinch or anything.

Impacts and Timed, Impacts can be forcibly thrown at concrete and still not go off, and if they do, it still doesn't guarantee anything. Timed ones are guaranteed to go off, either at 1.5s or 3s (only set to 1.5 if you are good at pulling the pin fast, as its under alot of tension, pull it too slow, hello faceful of bb's)
