(MP7) To Supress or not to Supress

Thanks guys, yeh it’s new so am assuming some bastard factory tightening or glue. I shall try some boiled water first. Stupid question but am I simply dipping into the hot water to about where the barrel is.

I gave up last night. Didn’t want to make the rash decision of forcing the bugger.

I’m going to try and dip it in boiling water today to try and loosen. But I have concerns over steam down the barrel. Current thinking boil the kettle, use a jug and dip the end in for a bit and hope it loosens in some way.

VFC employ a strong man to tighten those on!!
Silverback are the same, the amount of force i had to use to undo the bolts holding my TAC41 reciever to the stock was crazy, same with the piston head (I swear they superglued it rather than threadlocker) had to heat it up with a blowtorch and use a bar to leverage it while still crazy hot lol.

To mirror some of the views already made, I don’t like either of the ones you’ve picked out - but that’s obviously personal choice so you do you.

I just run a Mk2 MP7 style with tracer unit inside. But it does make it quite “mayo” as so many other builds have the same
