Looking to get rid of my Bora belt setup ASAP I’ve listed it on this forum, any other places I can try to list it? Thanks :)

Prefired or if you're feeling brave, Usedairsoft (Usedairsoft has a problem right now with scammers, but i think its more on the seller side. Still, I would exercise extreme caution doing anything there)

Also, as it's not a RIF you could list on ebay as a private seller, Private sales pay no fees now, i tend to sell a lot of my gear on eBay it just takes a bit longer

I definitely side with Punisher on exercising extreme caution with Used Airsoft. There are scammers trying it on with sellers where they make false claims for non delivery so they claim their money back while keeping the item.

As much as it pains me to say it, you can also try Facebook Marketplace though you should ready yourself for timewasters.

Thanks for the replies, gonna offer a discount if sold today that might get rid of it sooner rather than later 😁

In order of preference I would say the best 3 will be here, eBay and Vinted. But of course it doesn’t hurt to list across all at once, then cancel the rest when one sells.

Here doesn’t incur fees, both eBay and Vinted say it’s free to sell but that just means that the buyer gets charged it. Look at the overall inclusive price to see how it would look to the buyer

Consider eBay promotion, I sell with that depending on the item to get it pushed to a wider audience but they will take that fee from your cut

eBay simple postage is useful, I choose that as standard which allows the buyer to pick their preferred carrier (check the settings to make sure you have access to drop off to any listed otherwise disable those that you can’t)
You can “upgrade” for free, eg if the size/weight limit for that method goes higher you can pack in plenty of protection or be lazy with a big box
… and if there is a delay in delivery then “simple” is eBay’s problem, not mine

(I don’t use eBay simple if it’s a tiny / cheap thing not worth the minimum charge)

Just a word of warning to anyone wanting to sell Airsoft stuff on vinted, it's against T&C's and will get you banned from the platform if it gets picked up by the automated system.

Happened to me earlier this year.

Is there a loophole, like saying it's for cosplay or LARPing?

Ebay is similar on certain items, you have to make sure AIRSOFT is clearly in the title. I have had stocks, grips and magazines flagged for firearms on ebay as they didn't have airsoft in there.

With ebay & vinted, it's all in the wording, after all you can put the word "Airsoft" in to either of their search engines & you'll get thousands of results, most of which will be genuinely airsoft related.
Obviously with vinted, you don't get paid until the buyer receives the items AND then releases the payment, so not a good platform if you're after cash in a hurry.

Not that I've seen, after a warning I removed all my listings with Airsoft in the title or description and re-uploaded with new pictures and descriptions and they still banned me after uploading a cheap scope. I appealed with screenshots showing hundreds of listings of similar items I was selling with Airsoft in the title and they still denied it.

It might not happen to anyone else just sharing a warning of what happened to me. Ebay proved more fruitful for me and like Punisher said so long as it's clearly described as Airsoft it's fine.

Vinted has an AI LLM in the background doing image comparison, if that flags anything for review by a human, then the account gets banned fairly quickly. Tested a few months ago with a burner account, putting images of a Coyote Brown WAS belt up, account lasted about 6 hours from point of listing before it was permabanned.

That's kinda weird, not saying it didn't happen, but ive had similar stuff on my favourites list, sometimes for ages, & it stays up until it's sold.

PS I've also reported fake kit being passed off as high end brands, & vinted don't give a 💩, literally leaving dodgy ads up.
