(MP7) To Supress or not to Supress

Honestly, just run it until it can’t run any more. I wouldn’t get hung up too much on it - Every airsoft replica has issues and you’re more likely to hear the issues rather than the good news
 
That's true, I guess. Even if it gets boneyarded, I can still recover a bit of cash from it, along with flogging the mags. Might just make sure I take a backup with me each time I take it out, lol, in case it explodes
 
With the sling loop added to the rail it should help, like Austeyr effectively says... don't worry about it.
 
A quick one for you.

I got a replacement charge handle for my MP7A1 and took out the rear plate assembly etc. I was wondering if this is too much grease on this gun? I bought this used so it came like this. As a new gbbr user I am unsure if this is normal.

That does look like a lot of grease but if it works then I wouldn't worry about it.

I found I had better results with silicone oil from a spray can than using grease and I didn't need to use much

I'll leave it for now and see how it goes. I need to grab some silicone spray sometime, does it matter which one or will silicone WD40 work?

Normally, I use Superlube 21030 for the slides on my GBB Pistols
 
I’d personally stick to the superlube. Silicone oil can get into your barrel and bucking quite easily with use, which can cause problems

Jumping onto an old thread with a question if I may guys.

My vfc Mp7a1 arrived today, buzzing!!!! Anyways, can I get the flash hider off the end of the barrel. Am I missing something, I can’t see any kind of bolt or pin and it does not turn, or at least I don’t want to be to rough with it till I know my shit.

Any help with this? I assumed it much come off as I picked up a adapter for the barrel end.

Yeh man 😔 watched some YouTube vids of people just unscrewing (left for loose)

Wondering if any had glue holding it in or if there’s a little screw my old eyes are missing.
 
Did you get it new or used? Its possible someone used threadlocker on it. If they used red it might need heating up first (sometimes dipping it in boiling water for 5mins can heat enough to undo red locker)
 
I’ve had success with heat.
One method I’ve used is to dip the flash hider into a bowl of water that’s just off the boil from your kettle. It’ll warm it enough to soften any glue if there is some
Another is proper direct heat, so a chefs torch, or over the gas flame on your hob is another, though I’ve never needed to resort to a flame method.

Another trick, is to pop a thin screwdriver through the ports in the muzzle device for better grip & torque

Mp7’s do have a normal clockwise thread on them - ie Righty-Tighty , Lefty-Loosey

Also, I believe they all have a smaller thread on them, NOT a 14mm
The adapter you have purchased won’t fit the VFC MP7
Ask me how I know 😉
