Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread

He doesn’t mention UKSF just SF and tier one, I reckon its the Tier One Wannabe SF.  How much is he asking anyway?

"Hang on mate, don't shoot me! I've got to take my scope off so I can flip up my iron sight!!!!"

Tbf, when i was running the dragonuv i found myself doing that to the point that i basically gave up running the scope at all, not helped by the clip on cheek riser making it impossible to get your head low enough for the irons.

But at least that was a quick release mount....

What makes me chuckle even more is that Ultrair isn't the best choice now it's a wee bit nippy outside. People should be looking at "red" or "black" gas now for more consistent cycling.

Firesupport makes the seller's case look even worse as you can buy 6 cans in bulk and have change left over for lunch from the £50 the seller presumably wants for all 5 cans.

Also I'm pretty sure most couriers have rules about Joe Public posting pressurised canisters of flammable gasses
Correct - they all do, and they all have to by law

Both due to pressurised containers and due to hazardous materials

The carrier becomes liable for the unknown contents of their packages on our roads and airways

People disregarding the rules and making false declarations are also the reason for ‘empty’ canisters being subject to the same rules.  Even a dismantled HPA cylinder & regulator will be hard to find a willing carrier for a private sender - and once found will cost a few ££

(Some would try to defend themselves that UK postage won’t go by air, despite much of the internal mail going by air for speed, and then complained that packages became seized and destroyed)

A starter is The Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations

https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2009/1348/contents

Carriers pretty much prohibit private senders, and require business senders to use appropriate methods under contracts.

Proper declarations, and appropriate methods cost money

I offered £10 for that completely shit MP5K in the classifieds a while back.

This is the charming reply I got from the seller:

Wouldnt cover the postage, packaging and fees, do you get many free guns? I could just through it in the bin for the sake of 34p i'd get from your serious offer >.> am going to seriously reject that, but thanks for taking the time, to waste my time and hopefully you dont live much longer if this is how you spend your life...

What a prat.

Apart from an attitude that explains why his relationship broke down, how does he not understand that it is going to cost money in parts and labour to restore the gun to having a working safe fire setting and be usable in CQB?
