Invicta Woodland site to shut down.

But a new one opening at "Somepoint" In Yalding this year. I take that with a pinch of salt, but Invictas Woodland site was pretty good, so it's a shame to hear.

I've never been, but have meant to get over and try it out. I suppose with DriverWood so close to where I am based, I've got a little lazy. However, now that Driverwood has hoovered up a lot of Dogtag's previous custom it is getting pretty congested (i.e. apparently 160 there last Sunday), so even more impetus to try out Invicta before it closes. They run a tight ship at their Blacksite venue, so I imagine the general marshalling and organisation for the woodland site will be much the same high standard?

Fingers crossed for the Yalding site - actually a little closer to home than Invicta Woodland, and Yalding has a train station for those with no car (Asomodai)...

That is a real shame to hear. Once I got my driving license (hopefully soon(ish)), I was planning on heading out there for a few game days, but now it seems like I won't get the chance as I don't think I'll pass my test by July (because tests are so hard to book anyway...)

Sites in the south east are dropping like flies and it sucks

I only went to Invicta once, several years ago; it wasn't a great day, but it looks like the site has developed a lot since then.

Yalding would be much more accessible, so I will be visiting when it opens.

This is a shame, it's one that's been on my bucket list for a while, gonna have to try to get a day (or half ?) in before they go.
