Afternoon all.

I'm looking to get a hi capa and convert to HPA. I've looked at generally what's needed and come up with a list. Tempted to get the gold match as it look cool.

metal upper receiver
metal threaded outer barrel
Cowcow front and rear optic sight
Waldo customs snappy boi recoil spring
Waldo customs buff short stroke kit
Airsoft masterpiece hop unit
Maple leaf decepticons hop rubber

Is there anything else that's needed (other than aesthetics) to have a good qcb hpa hand gun?

Regards

"Good" in what capacity? In CQB, the hop unit and bucking would offer only so much appreciable improvement as you're only going to be shooting over short distances unless you're lifting much heavier ammo.

Are you running such high pressures that warrant a slide replacement or is the slide being changed for looks?

Do you think swapping your inner barrel and trigger would be beneficial?

Have you considered magwells to aid reloading?

It's worth bearing in mind that your mileage may vary with any responses given, including mine. I like flared magwells but I know a lot of people can't stand them.

Slide more for looks tbh, but I guess also got long term performance. No clue on changing internal barrel and trigger.

Never heard of a magwell, just googled and it looks like an aid to hold the mag in.

And by good, I mean a general decent level hpa hi capa gun that will shoot well and fast while giving longevity so I don't need to be taking it apart all the time

The magwell can make it easier to load mags in. It does depend on the user. TM's Hi-Capas are the best platform as most aftermarket parts are made specifically for TM-spec Hi-Capas, specifically the original and the Gold Match.

With third-party Hi-Capas, it becomes something of a gamble because they're not necessarily made to the same spec as TM so compatiblity is

The Stacatto pistols (manufactured by Army Armament) are based on the 2011/Hi-Capa platform too so there's also a good degree of parts compatibility. They're pretty solid out of the box. WE's Hi-Capas are well put together as well though it depends on which one you get parts compatibility varies a lot based on which model you use.

I was just asking if them upgrades are worth it, am I missing something obvious?

So what upgrades would you suggest for indoor qcb? And tbh I might use it outside if it's good enough
