Help with battery!

I've had my g&g sr-l for a few days now, and my 8,4v 1600MaH nun chuck battery has just ran out. I hooked it up to the charger and charged until the green 'Charged' light came on on the charger. The battery and charger was hot, and the charger smelled funny. I then hooked up the battery to the gun, but nothing happens when i pull the trigger... It worked fine before, but now there is not even any noise. A little red dot blinks on the MOSFET when i pull the trigger and have the battery hooked up, but not even the motor whirs :blink: Could it be a faulty charger? I bought it from zeroone, should i just call them and ask?
