So my son is looking for a hard case for his guns, SR30, HK416, DMR and pistol.

It's got a Christmas present. It's hard to get my head around what would fit in the boxes based off of the dimensions given on websites.

Can anyone shed any light on what would be suitable?

He plays either with me, a mate or sometimes both. So to be able to take the 3 rifles would be advantageous, the pistol could stay with his plate carrier I guess.

TIA

I'd recommend a large Nuprol case like this one, I have an XL that takes 2 full length rifs comfortably but it's huge & gets heavy, you would get all of the above in an XL but like I said... it gets heavy. You might get all in a Large but it depends on what accessories are attached.
Most cases online will state the dimensions, anything 12cm deep will be ideal, but don't buy a case with a cut out handle... that seriously limits what will fit.

I forgot to add... I find wave foam to be best for me as I rarely use the same rif's at games (when I go), pick n pluck is ok if you only use the same rif's, it can look a bit messy at times but there's a spray you can use to keep the bits from separating, lots of peeps seem to use shadow foam which 'can' look great if it's cut out properly.

Thanks mate. That really helps a lot. Great tip on the handle, something I'd never have thought of.

As above. The nuprol cases are popular but expensive. One big advantage they have though is that they've got wheels which makes lugging them around a bit easier

Just a thought but you'll find lots of pics of rif's in cases in the classifieds & the gun picture thread.
p.s. I prefer to carry my mags in the webbing I'm going to use and the extra bits like bb's, gas, batteries & PPE in a seperate bag.
Others will carry these in their gun case.
