That’s not the standard front rail is it?
Nope, it's the Ares Octarms M-Lok rail.

A steaming pile of shit that will be replaced with something better, that doesn't require a plastic bridge with the receiver to make it sit flush.

So guys, I need y’alls opinions. So I have this MP7:

Now do I leave it as an a1 or convert it to an a2? If you’re unaware the process involves permanently removing the folding grip and replacing it with a rail. I did this to my GBB MP7. However the folding grip on this AEG variant is much sturdier, so I don’t necessarily have to convert it. Hence wanting opinions. To avoid filling the section with replies, just vote a1 with the “like” react and a2 with the “coolAF” react.

For comparison - A1 vs A2 TM MP7

By the time guys get to that level it'll be like teaching Nana to suck eggs lol, I'm just wondering how intense the system is nowadays to ensure man & machine work as one.

As a young squaddie in the rgj, the emphasis on marksmanship was immense, including the tailoring your rifle.

Obviously the quality of our servicemen (& women) is still top notch, maybe any serving players can comment on weapon personalisation & emphasis nowadays ?
Haha my WHT on the GPMG lasted all of 10 mins... never even held one in depot and within a day of being at battalion I was lugging it around with 700 rounds and a spare barrel...

Finally got the folding stock adapter fitted to my AEG. It's not completely done as I need a receiver end plate but it works as a proof of concept. It's actually really practical as it means I don't need to take the stock off to change the battery or have a stupidly long screwdriver to take the buffer tube off
