Hi guys i have a gas/springer day coming up and hence no AEG's now ive got a glock 18c which i absolutley love and has a m3 tac illuminator attached but i was thinking about going with a shottie as well slung over my back just incase. i dont currently have a shottie and i have orderd one from 3 diff suppliers over past two days and every time i get a call oh sorry none in stock lol.

Now ive found another supplier with the one i want in stock and because of the bad luck the past two times ive starting talking my self out of it and im actualy wondering...........

1: do i need it

2: does a shottie pistol combo work/nessasary.

Any advice from anyone running this combo let me know ure thoughts on it within a total cqb environment and i mean really cqb

Personally, and the way the pros/real guys do it, you'd use the larger weapon (in this case the shotgun) as your primary. Admittedly there isn't a great deal of difference in effectiveness between the two in airsoft, but you can get a nicely setup holster that'll stow that glock in such a way as you're barely notice it, whereas the long gun will bounce around/get caught on doors/edges etc.

There are a lot of folks that run SMGs in semi-auto or pistols only in CQB and you get plenty of maneuverability, but carrying more than one weapon is what I always recommend.

yeah i do have an excellent holster that sits on my belt and im going with no vest just a few pouches on the belt and a drop leg mp5 mag holder for my 50 rnd glock mags so to have a back up would be good and normally yes i would have the pistol as a secondry but i get good kills with the pistol but dont fancy a big old shottie knocking into me all night.

are you going to the requiem game on the 20th? if so i'll see you there.
