I voted the last option.

Though all my mags are fine, extra durability is always a bonus no matter what the condition.

I don't drop mags much but the extra protection and damage prevention would be worth it

The only ones I wouldn't is my g39mags as they're plastic and I can't see stronger outers being made :P

I don't fully understand the question.

I like the weathered metal look, with scraped paint and all that, so I'd want to retain that look, but obviously increase the longevity of my mags in whatever way possible.

Also, I have no idea what OEM is... =/

 
To simplify that, OEM means as you would get it out of the 'box' (not modified in any way).
