B&T MP5 issue with feeding

Yes I was just going to recommend them clips. Very useful on a V2 box as the trigger likes to pop out aswell.

Yea as said above, just take your time on the gearbox. There is no rush. You will only end up having to strip the entire gun again if a problem arises. Been there so many times

Just double check with the new sector gear and delay chip that the tappet plate pulls back far enough to load a BB and far enough forward to seal against the bucking.

I find MP5 to have small tolerances when it comes to this. If your running a full stroke then timing will not be an issue.

There are guides online that walk you through this. Might be related to Short stroking but still relevant information

So I’ve been trying to do this for a couple of weeks now and failing. One part goes in then another pops out. Nothing feels as free moving as I would expect it to, almost like it binds but that will due to how I’m doing it I expect.

With this in mind, and that I’m close to going mad with it I’ve messaged the only person on the forum that I know is local to me to see if he can help, if not I’ll have to look for someone I can post it out to so they can put it together properly in return for some money.

I would love to get this mp5 up and running soon, it’s the one gun I’ve always wanted and it’s my second one, the first was a well g55 gas one that had a leaky mag then broke a piece inside, so I’ve never been able to use it properly. Hopefully this one will be different once the gearbox is sorted ?

No luck so far ?

Is anyone able and willing to put this gearbox together for me? I can send it to you how it is with the new shim pack I have, just let me know what you want for doing it.

maybe an idea? If not I'm close to you and don't mind having a look.

Hi,

the wires on mine come from the front so not sure if it’ll fit properly.

If you would look at this one I would be very greatful, it’s still in pieces at the moment as I still haven’t managed to get it back together.
